In case you wonder why she came to the US: As a little girl growing up in the Haarlem area (Holland - The Netherlands - NL), Linda had a great sense of adventure and felt the whole world was open to her. Her parents had worked abroad and she just knew she too would end up living in another country. She started international travel at the age of 13 and spent summers leading American exchange students through her country, while speaking English. At age 19 she worked in a kibbutz in Israel as a volunteer and became work planner for a crew of 45 young people, originating from 7 countries. The experience in dealing with different nationalities and cultures set the choice for her career in Human Resources and combined her broad interest in employment dynamics with her genuine people skills. She obtained her B.Sc. in HR in The Hague -NL at the Academy for Social Studies while working as a HR professional/recruiter in Europe. Before her immigration to the US in 1991, Linda was employed for 12 years in HR positions in the IT industry in Rotterdam-NL (Alpha Computer Diensten / ING), London-UK (Matrix), The Hague-NL in hotel industry (Crest Hotels), staffing manager (ASB/Medical) and as interim HR coordinator for nursing homes in Rotterdam (Humanitas).
